We
grow large organic gardens of vegetables, flowers,
butterflies, beneficial insects and birds.
We
start the rows with carpet in-between the rows to
prevent hard rain run-off of the garden soil. Also you
can work in the garden right after the rains. It
holds the moisture in much better than just dirt and
mulch. These rows with the carpet stay cool and
wet even in the heat.
Large Tomato rows
I use
cheap colorful fabric flowers early in the spring to
attract the insects and birds. Plus it really
colors up the garden. -->
I have Hummingbird
feeders in the garden and they come back every year. |
